Steely is looking for a like-minded individual to join our team as a Logistics Technician.

Candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities:- Receives supplies, materials and equipment and checks against packing slips to ensure quantity and quality is correct and undamaged
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation in accordance with procedures
- Prepare products for shipment using most economical and efficient packing and shipping methods to ensure safe delivery
- Working with Manufacturing staff to ensure minimum stock levels and reorder points are maintained
- Maintaining clean and organized inventory stock rooms
- Performs timely and efficient movement of inventory and error-free entry of all related transactions into MRP
- Researches inventory discrepancies and communicates with team members to resolve issues
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Experience working with MRP software
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in supply chain/logistics functions - material planning, inventory management, and transportation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5+ years work experience in a Logistics/Inventory Control position
