POSITION SUMMARY
As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. Your responsibilities will include monitoring surveillance systems, operating cameras, securing the building. You will work proactively to prevent and respond to security incidents, safeguarding both personnel, property, company assets and to reduce shortages/fraud.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
Responsibilities/ role would include:

Identifies, recommends, and implements systems to minimize loss and company assets.

Audits and investigates sources of known losses.

Observe and record activities in the area of interest using various tools and techniques, such as cameras.

Gather video evidence relevant to the purpose investigating potential and known losses

Ensure that all collected video is accurate, detailed, and relevant.

Set up, operate, and maintain surveillance equipment, including cameras and recording devices, upgrade and maintain surveillance equipment as needed.

Conduct patrols of the premises to ensure all areas are secure and free from potential hazards.

Respond to and investigate alarms or security breaches, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.

Quickly and effectively respond to emergency situations.

Researches, suggests, and implements additional security measures.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This position may involve working irregular hours and various locations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certifications and /or licenses:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Experience:
- Required background of 5 years of law enforcement, investigations, military or equivalent.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of operations, loss prevention strategies and procedures.
- Must be a results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and documentation.
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 plus annual bonus potential
