MANAGER - TCD PROGRAM - Seminole Gaming

Job summary: To support and develop Seminole Tribe of Florida members and descendants in their professional pursuits across Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International.

• Support the resolution and escalation of employee relation matters in partnership with TCD leadership, operational partners and the TCD members.
• Build trust and maintain open lines of communication with members of the program and our partners.
• Onboard and integrate TCD members into the business in partnership with the Community Relations Manager and TCD Director.
• Uncover performance and leadership competency development opportunities for TCD members.
• Travel to properties to facilitate one-on-one meetings with TCD members to determine career pathing objectives and on-site opportunities for growth.
• Communicate and report to the Director of TCD, TCD member updates weekly unless escalated urgency identified.
• Uphold the strongest confidentiality as it pertains to all aspects of the role.
• Collection and facilitation of feedback cycles in collaboration with departments and TCD members.
• Maintain the highest standards of representation of the business and program, in internal and external settings.
• Flexible availability to include after-hours and weekends.
• Ability to travel 60% of the time.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

• 5 years managing relationships within a program or people management environment required
• 2 years preferred experience in a casino environment.
• 2 years preferred Human Resources related experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
