MANDT Trainer - 30 hours per week - Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities

About the Job
Oversees and coordinates all aspects of MANDT training for Stark DD. The MANDT System is a holistic, evidence-based training that follows a train-the-trainer approach to help develop a culture that provides emotional, psychological and physical safety for everyone.
Coordinates all aspects of MANDT training to include initial employee training, recertification training and on-site refresher training and competency checks.
Coordinates Agency and Provider Community Training Schedule; Schedules locations, dates and times for the Board's MANDT training program and makes notifications to all employees and supervisors.
Maintains an updated list of trainers and staff trained in MANDT.
Ensures the completion of or completes all required paperwork including certificates, notifications to MANDT corporate offices, trainees and the SCBDD by utilizing the RELIAS LMS when applicable.
Provides a variety of support services to the HR department during employee onboarding to include fingerprinting, registry checks, and new employee tours.
Serves on the Administrative Safety Committee and Human Rights Committee (HRC).
Provides administrative assistance with department audits, special projects, open enrollment, and data entry.
Maintains certification as a MANDT Trainer.

Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field and/or equivalent amount of job experience working with student and/or adult behaviors, preferred, as well as experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of teaching and instruction for individuals and groups and the ability to develop cooperative working relationships with others. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills required along with active listening skills.
Certification as a MANDT trainer required or willingness and ability to obtain.
