Job Summary

Chartwells is on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our efforts at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks located in Fairbanks, AK. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Guidance: Provide expert guidance to dining locations across campus, driving marketing promotions, meal plan campaigns, and retail sales initiatives to new heights.
Brand Excellence: Ensure adherence to Chartwells brand standards across all dining programs, from visual merchandising to guest experience platforms, ensuring a cohesive and unforgettable brand identity.
Effective Communication: Take the helm of communications and public relations efforts, managing guest feedback, press releases, client presentations, and website maintenance with finesse and professionalism.
Engaging Storytelling: Lead the charge on social and digital media endeavors, captivating audiences with compelling narratives that resonate deeply with the university community.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative marketing plans, monitoring their efficiency and effectiveness with precision and agility.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate, analyze, and report on all marketing activities and results, using insights to drive continuous improvement and strategic refinement.
Community Collaboration: Cultivate positive relationships with key campus partners, aligning our dining program with university initiatives to drive satisfaction, retention, and campus-wide engagement.
Creative Collateral: Bring our brand to life through captivating marketing collateral and communications pieces, from brochures to newsletters, showcasing the richness and diversity of our dining offerings.
Business Development: Support new business and retention efforts, leveraging your marketing expertise to drive growth and success in a competitive landscape.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS degree in Marketing preferred
Minimum of three years marketing experience
Ability to present to large groups
Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
Excellent writing skills
