Responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities for expanding the customer base, increasing revenue, and enhancing the Kroger Manufactured Product brand reputation
Coordinate and collaborate with all related lines of business and continuously improve manufacturing processes by integrating new methodologies/technologies and adopting industry best practices

MINIMUM Bachelor's Degree in business related field or experience equivalent10+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations or corporate brand sales/promo planning5+ years leadership experience in food manufacturing, distribution, or retail5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project managementSolid understanding of the value drivers and fundamentals in food manufacturing - dairy/bakery/groceryProficient in Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated ability to coach and trainStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusionsProficient knowledge of financial statements and budgetsExcellent project management skills with the ability to effectively meet deadlinesUnderstanding of organizational impacts that result from changes in business processes and technologiesAbility to analyze complex data and present effective reportsDESIRED Master's Degree in Business AdministrationCollaborate on continuous improvement efforts for each category to ensure quality and availability of Kroger Manufactured ProductCollaborate with the Merchandising and Our Brands Teams on portfolio management for assigned commodityDevelop and implement overall business strategy for new/expanded growth and brand loyalty in collaboration with other departments and stakeholdersProvide strategic guidance and leadership to our business partners to align our business and people processes toward deliverables that support being best in classRemain abreast of market conditions, competition, new technology, government regulations and supplier information as they apply to the operationExercise excellent negotiation skills to secure deals, ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, and then manage/maintain all relationshipsConduct market research and analysis to identify tends and gaps in the industry and use the data/insights for strategic planning and decision-makingMaintain a growth and learning mindset to keep up with changing market conditions, customer expectations, and industry standardsTravel to Kroger locations as needed for stakeholder interfaceSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reportsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationFull timePosting Date: 2024-10-16
