Location: Mount Carmel East - MRI (21240), Columbus, OH
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Position Overview: Mount Carmel East is seeking a skilled MRI Tech to join our imaging team on a 13-week contract. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing MRI scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images.
• Review and evaluate images to ensure clarity and accuracy before sending them to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols, including proper use of contrast agents.
• Provide clear instructions and communicate effectively with patients throughout the scanning process.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of MRI results.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI suite and equipment.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Valid Ohio State License as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Certification in MRI (ARRT MR) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems.

Special Conditions:

• Must be available for a 13-week contract.
• Shifts are 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
