Job Summary and Qualifications

TheMRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• 3 - 12hr shifts, 6:30a - 7p. Call every 4th weekend and one weekday call per week.
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer High school graduate / graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered with the ARRT or ARMRIT. MRI registry within 6 months of hire.
  
• BLS required within 30 days
  
• Previous MRI experience highly preferred
