JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $18 per hour
1st Shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various CNC-controlled machines, such as presses, lasers, and rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality
- Operate cranes
- Operate forklifts
- Utilize scanning equipment
- Utilize computer, essential skills needed
- Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
- Serve as a positive role model consistent with CBB’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- Collaborate with team members and Supervisor to help the team achieve targets
- Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in high production manufacturing environment
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
- Ability to work safely in a safe environment
- Ability to produce a quality product
- Ability to stay focused and diligent
- Be dependable and punctual
- Ability to read and understand job instructions
- Ability to accurately use measuring devices
- Clear speaking and oral skills
- Effective Teamwork
- Physical dexterity to operate machinery
- Flexible and adaptable to help the team meet needs
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, perform reaching pinching, gripping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending
- Fill in when and where needed
- Be willing to cross-train and be promotable
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
