Machine Operator - Metyx USA, Inc

The Machine Operator is to effectively and efficiently prepare, produce and maintain the required production that is assigned to a machine. The duty during the assigned shift is to the assigned machine. Most machines are designed for a single operator to perform these tasks.

Responsibility

• All are expected to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instruction and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.

• Have good communications skills, written and verbal

• Document all items about production

• Keep work area clean and tidy

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to others to ensure quality and production

• Report damage, safety issues, or other needed information

• Frequent exposure to heat and cold

• Work at elevations greater than 10 feet

• Lift and or move up to 50 Lbs.

• Perform repetitive task for extended periods (standing, lifting, bending, sitting, kneeling)

• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with fellow employees and customers

Pay:

This position has a starting pay of $17 per hour.
