What You'll Do: Be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of metal cutting machines to ensure the production of high-quality parts meeting customer specifications. 

In this Function You Will 

• Set up, operate and/or tend more than one type of metal cutting machine meeting specification to produce high quality parts for our customers. Adjust equipment controls to regulate flow of production materials. 
• Monitors banks of metal working machines, checking and gauging parts to ensure machines are running to specifications. 
• Adjusts machines, tooling, and wheels to keep parts within allowable tolerances 
• Assists in maintenance and changeover of machinery. 
• Change worn machine accessories such as cutting tools and grinding wheels. 
• Complete paperwork and checks gauges after changeovers to ensure proper dimensions are set on each machine. 
• Complete Statistical Process Control charts as required 
• Read process sheets to compute data for proper machining dimensions and which gauge to use to check parts 
• Use precision gauging equipment including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators to ensure parts are within specification 
• Follows safety policies and procedures in the performance of listed daily functions 
• Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions 
• Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation. 

Required Qualifications 

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  

Preferred Skills 

• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution 
• Previous Manufacturing experience
