Machinist II - D590 at Express Pros Mt Vernon

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our client’s team. Our client is a leading innovator in the optofluidic industry, providing cutting-edge solutions that integrate optics and fluidics for a variety of applications.

They are committed to advancing technology and delivering high-quality products to their customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in precision machining and a strong understanding of optofluidic components. This role involves working with advanced machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications.

What you get to do:

• Set up and run manual and CNC machines
• Produce parts to design specifications
• Ensure all documented customer, corporate and engineering requirements are met
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines as required.

What you need to be successful:

• Ability to grind tools
• Ability to make minor changes, as well as write and prove programs for basic parts from drawings using G&M codes.
• Cooperatively work with other machinists and management to understand and maintain scheduled work flow and productivity
• General machining principles obtained through community college, technical school, or previous work experience.

Pay: $19.50

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 6:00AM - 2:30PM
