Job Description:
- Develop and maintain geospatial applications using COBOL, Mainframe, JCL, and AS400-LANSA.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all geospatial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial applications.
- Implement best practices for geospatial data management and processing.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Lead the integration of new geospatial technologies and tools into existing systems.
- Oversee the migration of legacy geospatial applications to modern platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all geospatial applications and processes.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on geospatial technologies and best practices.
- Monitor and analyse system performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement geospatial strategies that align with business goals.
