Maintenance Director - Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster

We are looking for motivated, reliable and hands on Maintenance Director to join our AMAZING maintenance team!

We currently have a Full Time Opportunity Available. 

This position will be Directing our maintenance department with all of the facilities maintenance needs throughout the week.

Must have experience with facility maintenance. 

The shift times we have available are as follows:

 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday, Some weekend hours, Hours May Vary

Plans, directs, controls, staffs, and manages plant operation and maintenance of facility to ensure a safe and comfortable plant environment by instituting plans of preventive and corrective maintenance to strive to eliminate plant failure in order to maintain a high standard of health care service.

Qualifications:

Education:

§  High school diploma or Graduate of Technology

Experience:

§  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Maintenance job.

Job Knowledge:

§  Skills in heating, air-conditioning, electrical, and plumbing

Standards:

§  Preventative maintenance completed on timely basis.  Mechanical failure in minimum amount of down time.  All reports accurate and submitted on a timely basis.

§  All requisitions completed on a timely basis.

Essential Functions:

§  Schedules, evaluates and staffs work on preventive, corrective, and projects maintenance work on a weekly work sheet.  To maintain the building at highest efficiency. 

§  Maintain longs on work requisitions and completion.

§  Responsible for accurate and timely submission of reports, purchasing expenses, budget; fire inspections, project sheets and costs.

§  Responsible for building compliance with all building and fire codes.

§  Coordinates work with other departments so as not to interrupt resident care or normal business functions.

§  Responsible for development of maintenance policy, procedure and maintain all warranties and diagrams on all buildings and equipment.

§  Supervises all maintenance work and staff.

Other Job Functions:

§  Performs other duties as directed or required, such as, lawn, sewer.

§  On Call – Is a requirement
