Long Term Care Nursing Home is seeking a Maintenance Director to join our growing team!
The Director of Maintenance's primary purpose is to supervise, coordinate, and perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure the center is maintained in good repair and all systems are in compliance with applicable safety and fire regulations and federal, state, and local building codes to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Job Duties
- Responsible for the general maintenance of the facility, including all common areas, resident rooms, grounds, equipment, and mechanical
- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
- Lead by example and maximize each resident’s quality of life
- Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull light weights
Who You Are
- High school graduate or GED
- 2+ years of related experience (Have other qualifying experience? We want to hear from you!)
- Motivated and organized team-player with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent time management/organizational skills
