We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse array of machinery and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, mechanical maintenance, and conveyor systems. If you have a knack for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining and enhancing the functionality of complex systems, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and lead the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
2. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime.
3. Use your expertise with Allen Bradley systems to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
4. Manage electrical troubleshooting, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
5. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, and monitor their effectiveness.
6. Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of staff responsible for maintenance.
7. Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Coordinate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
10. Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with Allen Bradley, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, mechanical maintenance, and conveyor systems.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
6. Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficiency in using computer software and applications for record keeping and maintenance management.
9. A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all safety regulations.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
