SAVARD is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for Job# 20406.
Job Scope:
We are looking for a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
We are looking for a driven Maintenance Mechanic to ensure our plant operates safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include maintaining plant equipment, utilities and grounds while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To promptly respond to electrical and mechanical break downs.
- Apply troubleshooting and fault-finding techniques to identify the cause of the breakdown.
- Effect quick and robust repairs.
- Use the correct tools and spares to ensure the machines/equipment are correctly and safely repaired.
- Ensure that machines/equipment are installed according to recognized standards, procedures, and plans.
- Ensure that machines are installed per relevant Health and Safety regulations.
- Follow all HSE guidelines and NOV policies regarding safety.
- Ensure safe working environment by performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters, changing lights, fixing door handles, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Experience Required:
Must have 1-3 years Technical or trade school in a manufacturing maintenance related field (Electronic fault finding, Replacing gears, trouble shoot machinery, replacing air hoses)
Must have Basic computer knowledge
Other requirements:
Must have HS Diploma / GED
10 panel DS
7 yr BG

Fit to work physical
Pulmonary Function test
Physical Requirements:
Standing / Walking / Bending for up to 12 hours/day
Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
Shift/Hours:
HOURS OF WORK: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 6AM - 2: 30PM.
OVERTIME: Occasionally to 4: 30pm, and the occasional optional Saturday.
Pay Rate:
$23.36 to 25.37 per hour DOE
