Job Details
Standard Work Hours:
Weekend Nights (Friday-Sunday), 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment including mechanical presses, lathes, shears, welders, and more.
- Diagnose and fix issues with hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics and drawings.
- Ensure machines, fixtures, and jigs are maintained in proper working order.
- Dismantle machinery to remove and replace faulty parts, then reassemble and adjust for optimal performance.
- Install new components and make necessary adjustments to meet required operational standards.
- Design and attach special fixtures, guards, and safety devices as needed.
- Move and install equipment.
- Perform various tasks as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications:
What You Need to Succeed:
- A two-year associate degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in using a computer to search for parts and enter data into a CMMS.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, perform manual tasks, and engage in stooping and bending.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
