We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, has a strong understanding of the mechanics of industrial machinery, and possesses excellent leadership skills. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of our maintenance department, ensuring our manufacturing equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
The role is working a 6PM-6AM rotating shift.

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, has a strong understanding of the mechanics of industrial machinery, and possesses excellent leadership skills. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of our maintenance department, ensuring our manufacturing equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
The role is working a 6PM-6AM rotating shift.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in our manufacturing facility.
- Direct and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing coaching and conducting performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Plan, schedule and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Ensure adherence to sanitation and quality control standards.
- Manage the inventory of the stock room, ordering parts as required.
- Utilize PLC systems and SAP for troubleshooting and managing maintenance activities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the baking process, with a focus on maintaining equipment and systems critical to production.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and high productivity.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and industrial refrigeration.
- Experience with the baking process, sanitation, and quality control.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment and PLC systems.
- Basic understanding of fabrication skills such as welding, cutting, grinding, and machine work.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience coaching employees.
- Experience with work scheduling, PM scheduling, and managing a budget.
- Proficiency in using SAP, and managing inventory in a stock room.
- Electrical knowledge is a must.
- Hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to lead by example.
- Industrial bakery experience is a strong advantage.
- Must be a team player, with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
