Maintenance Technician | 2nd shift - Sterling Engineering

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairs on injection molding equipment, robots, setups, changeovers, adjustments, maintenance, repair and operations of various types of assembly, subassembly, printing, and/or packaging machines. This is a high-speed and controlled manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions
- Perform necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Check and maintain quality of product being produced
- Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, electrical or mechanical malfunction
- Conduct TPM activities as required
- Input Maintenance work orders into the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on position required
- Experience with injection molding required
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting required
- Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics required
- Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office applications and SAP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently from verbal and/or written instructions required
- Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to use basic hand tools
- Must have strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs with repetitive movements
- Ability to push and pull items
- Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
