Maintenance Technician - Akron, Ohio - JOB 24-00441
Salary Range: $21.00 - $24.00/HR Temp to Possible Hire
Akron Area Truck assembly plant operation is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician's key responsibilities will be troubleshooting and repairing various manufacturing equipment and machinery to include MIG & TIG welding equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on a routine basis. Maintenance of company buildings & grounds.
Requirements:
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma of GED required (Technical training or a skilled trade from an accredited institution a plus)
- OSHA 10-Hour training preferred.
- Experience with HVAC systems a plus.
- Experience using and/or maintaining fabrication and welding equipment.
- Must have Mechanical & Electrical controls experience; (PLC's a plus).
- Strong knowledge of welding and cutting preferred.
- Must have electrical knowledge and training.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed with short or no notice.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lb.
