Maintenance Technician
Sundance Property Management is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician in Summerville, SC.
Pay: $23/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Perform general repair of household appliances
- Perform carpentry, electrical and sewer repairs as needed
- Perform painting and/or drywall maintenance/repair as needed
- Communicate and follow up with the Property Manager about maintenance concerns and the status of work orders
- Assist Project Manager in contracting vendors and taking bids for special project
- Paint, clean, and repair all vacant units within a timely and impeccable manner
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
- Ensure that maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment are always stocked and available
- Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
- Effectively utilize a smart phone to handle texting, emailing, and calendar management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
- Minimum of 1 years' of general maintenance experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC Certification preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to work Monday – Friday 8AM – 5 PM
- Willing and Able to participate in 24HR Emergency On Call Rotation
- Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in professional and effective communication with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors, and supervisors. This includes verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to move items weighing up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
