Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for performing various production tasks with quality, and in a safe, economical, and technically feasible manner. As part of the daily operating team, the Maintenance Technician will serve as an anchor position and technology expert within the organization to provide continuity for the production engineers and staff.
The duties of the TPM Specialist will include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with maintenance team to set priorities for equipment repairs -Ensure equipment is ready for maintenance when scheduled.
- Support the day-to-day operations and guidance on continuous improvement.
- Function as liaison with service groups and outside contractors to ensure that work related to the production facilities is accomplished correctly, promptly and in the most cost-effective manner.
- Support and role model EHS activities and processes.
- Provide technical and leadership support in root cause failure analysis for EHS incidents.
- Work closely with production manager to establish goals and manage performance of Shift Workers and Shift Direction.
- Maintain staffing flexibility through operational cross-functional training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 10 years manufacturing experience
