Position Overview:

Core Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, communicate, and follow preventive maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to install, set up, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, material handling equipment, and building systems.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance of production equipment.
• Perform repair and maintenance tasks, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair and maintenance of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, and schematics for assigned equipment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety laws, regulations, and policies.
• Determine, specify, and communicate complete instructions for custom fabrication of tooling and equipment modifications.
• Source tooling, parts, supplies, and equipment from outside vendors with management approval.

Qualifications:

• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment malfunctions.
• 3 - 7 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in basic shop mathematics and accurate measurement recording.
• Competence in sketching custom parts and tools and using powered and non-powered hand tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for memos, emails, and maintenance records.
• Capability to read and interpret technical documentation pertaining to assigned equipment.
