MAINTENANCE TECH FOR SENIOR SKILLED FACILITY AND APARTMENT COMPLEX
The Maintenance Technician aids in maintaining the property and equipment of the facility. This position maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions. They respond to maintenance requests made by Residents and other facility personnel and perform other additional duties.
The Maintenance Technician aids in maintaining the property and equipment of the facility. This position maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions. They respond to maintenance requests made by Residents and other facility personnel and perform other additional duties.
The Maintenance Technician constructs, repairs, and maintains structures such as equipment, partitions, and other parts of building, using hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of methods, materials, and tools
Knowledge of HVAC service and repairs is a plus
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and construction
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments
Ability to follow instructions with little to no supervision
Keep maintenance shops clean and organized
Has the ability to find work without being told
Work with outside contractors
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Two years' experience in a Healthcare setting preferred
Two years' experience as a Maintenance Technician required
Other Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
EPA certification preferred
On call rotation required
Any other duties assigned
