What’s involved in this role: 

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician in Lake Norden, SD. 

• Efficiently perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment, and grounds in compliance with standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety policies as enforced by OSHA.   

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during the production process as needed. 

• Complete and update work orders using in-house systems 

• 5-2-2-5 schedule, 12 hour shifts

• Starting at $26.89/hr

• This is a monthly rotating position between days and nights: 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am 

• $1.50/hour shift differential between the hours of 6:00 pm - 6:00 am 

• Holiday pay and Double time on Sundays 

What you need to join our team:  

• Effectively perform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment. 

• Perform troubleshooting of equipment, including both electrical and mechanical systems. 

• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work. 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 

• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with colleagues.

• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
