Salary: $20.00/hr
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide support in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of assigned facilities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the operations and facilities team, as well as third-party vendors, to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of properties. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, performing repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on assigned facilities, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Collaborate effectively with the operations team, clients, and vendors to address maintenance and repair needs.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and due diligence assessments, promptly reporting any issues that may affect client occupancy and operations.
- Perform general interior maintenance tasks, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doors.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment as directed.
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as necessary.
- Update work order status in real-time using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Escalate any problems or issues to customers and managers in a timely manner.
- Attend work and safety meetings as required.
- Complete Hazard Assessments when necessary.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Identify and propose methods to eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws.
- Participate in mandatory safety training sessions as scheduled.
- Adhere to policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Sound knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
