Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Shift: Night
Hours: 4:18pm-2:18am (Mon-Thurs 15% shift premium)
A great company in the Washington, MO area is looking for industrial/mechanic maintenance tech for the day and night shifts! Preventative maintenance is required, working with various amounts of different tools. No residential or property maintenance. Pay is based on experience.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, controls schematics, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and repairs throughout the facility.
- Accurately record the maintenance performed in our systems.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Clean equipment when required.
- Solid PLC knowledge.
- Proficiency in working with industrial electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Read and understand work order requirements.
- Must be able to obtain forklift and genie boom certification and operate safely
- Observe safety requirements and use all required safety equipment.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
- 2+ years of CNC maintenance experience.
- Solid experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC equipment, including realignment and adjustments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Good Communication skills.
- Safety conscious and able to make safe decisions.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Able to form and execute a plan.
- Mechanically astute and able to recognize and think through problems.
- Must exhibit attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Must be able to listen and follow direction.
- Must be comfortable working with high voltages.
- Understanding of advanced machine maintenance plans.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection.
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds.
