Maintenance Worker (painting focused) - Banks Power

About the Job
Turbocharged high-performance engine developer and manufacturer, Banks Power, is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Worker to help maintain our facilities. This position will focus on painting while performing other general maintenance tasks. You will work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator. Schedule: 7am-4pm.

Main responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance per work order or instructions from supervisor, maintenance coordinator, or management staff.
- Wash and prep surfaces prior to painting. Repair drywalls as needed.
- Paint interior and exterior of our facilities.
- Handle light plumbing repair.
- Assemble and/or move office furniture and work stations, mount or move wall-attached items such as pictures, cabinets or posters ensuring items are secure, level and centered.
- Follow safety policies and ensure the safest working conditions.
- Perform other tasks assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in painting, minimum 1 year's experience in general maintenance including plumbing.
- Possess basic knowledge about hand tools and power tools. Experience using airless spray pump.
- Ability to carry or lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Willing to periodically travel to central California for the duration of a week.
