Mammography Technologist

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Mammography Technologist to fill an opening with a large healthcare provider in Steamboat Springs, CO!

Daily Responsibilities for Mammography Technologist:

• Performs mammography procedures in accordance with standards of practice and organizational policies.
• Reviews patient history, schedules appointments, and educates patients on procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications as ordered.
• Monitors patient condition, reports changes, and assists with interventional procedures.
• Prepares equipment, ensures safety standards, troubleshoots equipment issues, and maintains compliance with regulations.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)  or ARRT (R) + state provisional mammographer registration and ARRT (M) within 12 months
• No minimum experience required
