About the Job
Job Summary: Responsible for the operations, planning, and management of financial reporting, treasury, cashiering, and accounts payable for all entities within the organization. To assess and monitor the efficient utilization of cash and financial services consistent with CaroMont objectives. Ensure completion of all balance sheet reconciliations. Manages the assigned staff in the department by leading and nurturing a work culture that promotes open and frequent communication among staff and stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives. In collaboration with the Corporate Controller and Director Corporate Accounting, ensures compliance with GAAP; GASB rules and standards; and internal and external reporting requirements.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Finance or Accounting required. At least 5 yrs of progressive accounting experience required, preferably in a health care setting. At least five years management or supervisory experience required. Thorough knowledge of accounting techniques & principles (GAAP), GASB rules and standards and accounting systems required.
