Job Summary and Qualifications
The DSS program manager provides operational and profitability information to leadership for more effective decisions. The program manager supports the organization with leadership, analytics, process support, and reporting using a variety of tools and data sources.
· Set an example of excellence by identifying opportunities for growth and savings and presenting these to leadership. |
· Identify opportunities to improve Decision Support processes and responsiveness |
· Develop complex queries to extract and analyze data using available databases and business intelligence tools |
· Identify and provide monthly reporting needed or eliminate to ensure proper reporting to leadership |
· Act as trainer and mentor for other DSS team employees |
· Develop and lead education and training to business partners on business intelligence tools and other resources. |
· Lead the data support effort for the strategic and market planning process. |
· Act as the Strategic Analytics representative responsible for deliverables to support COPN (Certificate of Public Need) application process. These include service area maps, data to support and project volumes, and reconciliation of assets to state reporting. |
· Lead market share reporting and analysis. Present opportunities to division leadership identifying and discovering the trends seen in the data. Update PowerBI market share dashboard with enhancements and new views as needed. |
· Support access point strategy with site analysis and complex demand modeling |
· In partnership with the DSS Director and other division leaders, evaluate, analyze, and manage the development of key reporting / dashboards using business intelligence tools for the evaluation of key service line, financials and volume metrics. |
· Provide financial and operational modeling and analysis for key leadership teams. Must have sufficient finance or accounting background and experience and comfort with finance terms and measures. |
