Lead a dynamic team of Integration/Interoperability Engineers as the Manager of data Integration & Interoperability! Drive system-to-system integrations and real-time interoperability with external EMR’s and health systems. Navigate client discussions, directing engineers to obtain, transform, and maintain data while ensuring adherence to data management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enforce the team's Azure DevOps documentation of User Stories, process design artifacts, and technical design documents.
2. Assign work based on priorities and manage the team's sprints and workflows.
3. Manage timelines based on project complexity.
4. Establish high level relationships with IEHP peers and external partners to improve integration processes.
5. Negotiate new file layouts, communicate data impact to IT leadership and clients as necessary.
6. Communicate effectively to obtain collaboration between parties to create efficient processes and help improve timeliness of integrations.
7. Serve as a subject matter expert in key business projects and complex integrations.
8. Own projects from request to go-live.
9. Own the data quality assurance including scoping and communicating the need for new data quality reporting based on industry trends and issues.
10. Deliver reliable and effective integration solutions based on business requirements.
11. Keep up to date the interfaces for all data exchange methodologies including: HL7, X12, flat files, web services, FHIR and others.
12. Lead the design and development of various application integrations to and from external EMR systems.
13. Implement integration with legacy applications or COTS via APIs, events or batch.
14. Evaluate existing application integration solutions and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
15. Orchestrate data pipelines that meet security standards and ensure the integrity and quality of data.
16. Ensure all integration solutions meet company and performance requirements.
17. Provide detailed analysis of data issues; data mapping; and the process for automation and enhancement of data quality.
18. Analyze and integrate new technologies with existing applications to improve the design and functionality of applications.
19. Recommend next-generation data integration tools and frameworks required by the SMART Platform and Applications.
20. Provide on call support for production performance/availability or other critical issues outside of normal business hours.
21. Stay up to date on interoperability concepts and standards.
22. Conduct code reviews.
23. Direct, train and mentor staff.
24. Clearly and regularly communicate with management and other business units.

Education & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics,
- Mathematics or Engineering from an accredited institution required.
Key Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of total experience with the following:
- ETL and Data integration like (SSIS, MuleSoft, Informatica)
- Database technologies (MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch, Teradata)
- Middleware components like a service bus and message brokers (Kafka, ActiveMQ, MSMQ, RabbitMQ)
- Interface engines like (Core point, Mirth Connect)
- Database design concepts
- Distributed data architecture and Cloud/Hybrid solutions
- API and Web Services like (REST/SOAP/Bulk)
- Exchange and management of patient and Clinical data
Proven leadership experience, mentoring, and developing a team. Some Experience with NoSQL database technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB)
