The DevOps Manager responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of build pipelines, deployment pipelines, observability, cloud systems engineering, and development support tools such as GitLab and JIRA. The DevOps Manages a team responsible for maintaining highly secure and scalable software systems for the business, reducing & removal of bottlenecks or inefficiencies with DevOps, and supporting Application Development as a whole. Additionally, the DevOps Manager collaborates with senior leaders to promote, document, and implement systems infrastructure best practices, building tools that allow the department to develop and deploy quality software.
The DevOps Manager leads their team through the automation and enablement process of using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code across the entire technology ecosystem, including application builds, application deployment, system deployment, system administration, cloud engineering, and infrastructure configuration. In addition, the DevOps Manager oversees the team in supporting handling observability, monitoring, metrics reporting, and providing support for incident resolution. The DevOps Manager has primary responsibility for creating processes, planning initiatives, and setting technology investigations for DevOps. The DevOps manager guides the team in adopting and implementing Agile methodologies. This colleague also creates tools that leverage productivity amplifiers such as code generators and automated scripts for scalable deployment.
Responsibilities:- Lead the creation of tools and automated workflow capabilities to enable the application development teams to test and promote code across the IS department
- Build, configure, and maintain the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance of the organizations' software
- Lead the design and implementation of real-time monitoring for relevant systems
- Work together with the Application Development and Operations teams as it relates to all technical operations
- Work with DevOps personnel in improving health and performance issues of Concentra software systems
- Oversee, coach, guide, and mentor DevOps personnel in growing their skills and achieving their career goals.
- Create and implement roadmaps for the maturing the practice of DevOps within Concentra, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED
- College degree preferred
Customarily has at least the following experience:
- Customarily has at least 7 years of combined IT experience, composed of 3 or more years of hands-on development experience, 1 or more years of management experience, and 2 or more years of DevOps experience
- Experience with large heterogenous enterprise environments
- Ability to navigate within cloud-based architectures and solutions
- Demonstrated experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code systems, such as Terraform
- Demonstrated experience with Configuration as Code systems, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chief, etc
- Demonstrated experience with containers or Kubernetes
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Healthcare preferred
- Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence preferred
- Experience with Unix system administration preferred
