As a Manager, Investigations and Security in Shared Services at RXO, you will be responsible for leading investigations into security incidents and auditing the implementation and effectiveness of security protocols across all facilities and lines of business. This position will be in the Northeast.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead investigations into security incidents across all facilities and lines of businesses, ensuring a thorough and timely resolution
- Regularly audit the implementation and effectiveness of security protocols at each facility, identifying any potential gaps or areas for improvement
- Prepare and present audit and investigation reports, detailing findings and proposing recommended actions
- Collaborate with the Physical Security Manager and facility/warehouse managers to implement recommended security enhancements
- Develop and maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other relevant agencies to facilitate cooperation during investigations
- Keep abreast of new developments in security investigation techniques and audit methodologies, implementing improvements as necessary
- Train and advise security personnel and other staff on incident response procedures and best practices for maintaining security protocols
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the company's overall security strategy, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing security incidents
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years of experience in a security role with a focus on incident investigation and security auditing
- Strong investigative skills with a proven ability to resolve complex security incidents
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security information to a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of security software and systems
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or equivalent law enforcement experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
- Proven time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact and communicate well with all internal and external customers
- Ability to travel by car or plane up to 60% of the time
