Our expansion has created the need for a talented Manager of Market Development Representatives to join our record-breaking Inside Sales team. You will be responsible for building, coaching, and leading a team of entry-to-junior level sales representatives, focused on generating qualified leads and driving pipeline growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales development leadership and be passionate about fostering growth, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
What you'll do:
- Deliver exceptional team results according to defined monthly, quarterly, and annual productivity measures; such as, MQL conversion, meetings booked, pipeline generated etc.
- Inspire, lead, and coach your team to success, through regular feedback and training
- Collaborate with marketing and sales organizations to ensure alignment of goals and successful execution of lead-generation campaigns
- Collect, analyze, and report data around team, individual, and operational performance
- Lead in the hiring, onboarding, and development of new MDR's
- Become an expert in the tools and technology we use to execute and track MDR activities
- Partner with the sales enablement team to ensure MDRs receive relevant, effective training that equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed
- Identify gaps in current processes and continually improve and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive analysis to inform outreach strategies and increase effectiveness
What you'll need:
- 3-5 years of related sales or market development experience
- 1 or more years of experience in a leadership or management role
- Ability to coach and manage a team of entry-or-junior level sales reps, with varying skill sets and needs
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking for effective decision making
- Strong attention to detail
- Passionate about data and operational excellence
- Ability to work cross functionally with business partners and senior leadership
- A positive attitude, with tons of energy, enthusiasm, humor, and compassion
- BA/BS preferred
