Technical Operations/Maintenance
We have some of the best aircraft in the world. Our Technical Operations team comprises aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help ensure our planes are well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Technical Operations/Maintenance
The primary purpose of this position is to lead a team in the development, implementation and execution of a business and technical system which directly supports the production of engines. This role is accountable for the budgeting and scheduling of engine material through the SFMC Engine Shop. The manager advises analysts and ensures consistency across product lines. They will ensure projects/programs/parts are completed within the committed time and budget. This manager is accountable for improving cost efficiency and will empower others to utilize tools and resources to accomplish this.
- Manage and lead a team of business analysts to achieve these goals.
- Coach and mentor analysts for their career development, as well as successful delivery of projects.
- Perform routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis prepared as needed for the Component Maintenance product line including detailed variance analysis.
- Creation of KPI’s to supervise shop performance.
- Responsible for leading a team of business analysts to develop the annual operating budget for engine maintenance while working with various stakeholder departments (finance, planning, engineering, etc.)
- Responsible for performance monitoring against overall shop production plan and to develop and implement mitigating actions as required.
- Will develop and implement a standard performance reporting structure to highlight risks and corrective actions.
The salary for this position is $91,800.00- $134,640.00, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 4+ years of proven experience in shop operations, manufacturing, or similar.
- 1+ year(s) of Supervisory experience
- Meets or exceeds operational performance goals including timely performance, productivity, and safety objectives.
- Identifies the need for change and / or improvement and takes corrective action or works with leadership to resolve issues.
- Builds and maintains professional and productive work environment for labor groups and supervisor team.
- Effectively communicates with employees aligning the team for success.
- Experience in one of the following areas: Financial analysis, automation, supervisory, process improvements.
- PowerBI, Foundry, Spotfire
- Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities
- Comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions.
- Using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions
- Taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
- Focusing and inspiring others in accomplishing work objectives
- Setting high standards of performance
- Assuming responsibility and accountability for completing assignments or tasks
- Self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
