Expected pay for this position is $35.84 - $47.48/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Neurodiagnostic Programs is responsible for oversight, managing, planning, and evaluating all neurophysiology (EEG, EP, NCS, IOM) operations within the sleep center, clinic, and lab. Collaborates with NSSL, OSF Sleep services, and local leadership to build innovative neurodiagnostic and sleep programs that support an integrated approach to providing the highest quality of holistic care to the patients we serve.
Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- 2 Years of experience in healthcare operations.
- Experience planning and developing a budget.
- Experience developing and following a business plan.
- Familiar with healthcare delivery system business processes and requirements.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Manages risk and ambiguity well.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to listen, evaluate, participate in discussions, and sell ideas; plan and communicate effectively with user departments and internal and external system users; translates technical specifications and requirements into a language appropriate to audience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare related field (i.e. Nursing, Respiratory Care, Polysomnography, Electroneurophysiology).
Experience:
- 2 years clinical experience in sleep AND neurodiagnostics or respiratory care, with documented proficiency in all required competencies. •
- Experience with clinical software and operating environments, patient billing systems, interfaces, databases, CPT codes, and other related procedure data.
- Experience utilizing Performance Improvement and Change Management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to perform diagnostic testing and treatment sleep studies on patients of all ages and locations.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (SDS), or Registered by either the Board of Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST).
Other skills/knowledge:
- Ability to perform diagnostic testing and treatment sleep studies on patients of all ages and locations.
