Manager Supply Chain Planning - Rogers Corporation

Rogers Corporation currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Planning Manager in Narragansett, RI.

The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing plant supply chain planning activities. This role involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely product availability to meet customer demand. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, analyzes data and market trends, and identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost savings.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement supply chain planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensure product availability, and meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to align supply chain activities and enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze demand patterns, sales forecasts, and market trends to anticipate future demand and adjust supply chain plans accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Implement inventory control measures, such as safety stock, reorder points, and economic order quantities, to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
• Utilize supply chain planning tools and software to forecast demand, track inventory, and manage replenishment processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain planning
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills required
• Strong MS Excel skills required
• Experience with inventory management, demand forecasting methodologies, supply chain planning software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
