Job Summary and Qualifications

The Technical Product Manager will help lead product management efforts on their assigned product portfolio which may consist of one or more products. Product portfolios may contain products in utilizing different technology stacks and execution methods, and range from collections of reusable components to full stack internally and/or externally developed platforms. This role will also work with other developers and business stakeholders to define requirements, groom user stories, and consult with development teams on various projects.

- Develops a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
- Develops strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface and prioritize needs.
- Leads product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts.
- Monitors business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
- Establishes product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes.
- Contributes to translating business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.
- Continuously monitors and evaluates product performance and proactively champion product improvements.
- Determines internal and contract/external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product roadmap.
- Guides the product engineering team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability).
- Proactively identifies and resolves blockers to achieve business objectives for their products, including technical and resourcing challenges.
- Ensures alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security).
- Increases adoption and consumption of product capabilities.
- Manages investment decision making and finances for the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costs.
- Serves as product manager for multiple, related products.
- Evaluates all proposed new technology for the departmental use and organizational fit
- Works closely with other developers, project managers, business analysts, and QA engineers.
- Identifies potential revenue-generating solutions and perform patent evaluations and feasibility analysis where applicable
- Assists their leadership and other designees in developing a catalog of service offerings along with associated costs
- Ensures staff engineers are performing development using HCA standards and procedures, maintaining code and version control through defined application development software.
- Leads the product lifecycle thru inception, elaboration, development, testing, and implementation.
- Ensures staff are providing advanced troubleshooting user support working with end users at all levels of the organization
- Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for their products to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy.
- Identifies and helps implement process additions/changes/deletions that augment the technology adoption
- Conducts training sessions and/or ensure relevant training is performed as necessary to help ensure high levels of technology adoption
- Identifies and acquires technologies along with all supporting managerial tasks (e.g.- contract management, requisitioning, invoice payments)
- Other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Human Resources experience preferred

- Experience with automation of CI/CD pipelines Preferred
- Understanding of agile methodology and software development lifecycles. Preferred
- Experience with version control (Git) and open-source practices. Preferred
- Ability to sit for long periods of time. Required
