Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manger of Medical Staff Services (MSS) implement compliance with credentialing initiatives/processes. The incumbent is expected to maintain a working knowledge of applicable HCA Healthcare and Parallon Credentialing Processing Center (CPC) policies, accreditation standards and regulations associated with medical staff services, and play a key role in the integration of HCA Clinical Strategies and HCA systems.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire date. 
• 2 years of Medical Staff Office setting required. 
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity of Joint Commission standards required.   
• Experience with Visual Cactus or Cactus preferred. 
• Will travel to both Medical City Decatur and Medical City Denton.
