About the Job
Our client has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer. This position is for an engineer to focus on the design and efficient daily operation of integrated systems for the production of high quality, economically competitive flow control products. The qualified applicant will be highly experienced in PLC controlled equipment, robotics, machine tools and material handling systems. Knowledge of tooling design and metal forming operations is essential. This position will interface and lead machine improvement projects in an assigned area of the facility.
Responsibilities:
Machine Design:
- Complete 3D models and concepts of new process platforms for plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration copper products.
Tooling Design:
- Create tooling designs to work in existing and new equipment for the forming of copper and other metals.
Process Specialist:
- Become knowledgeable of all process options for forming copper and other metals, including common operations of bending, hydroforming, swaging, cutting, threading and impacting.
Project Management:
- Work with other departments within the company and suppliers and vendors to see projects to successful on-time completion.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
