1-2 Years of SolidWorks experience.
1-2 Years of AutoCAD experience.
This position requires that the person be a highly organized individual, who is self-motivated, and can work independently.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred knowledge of fabrication and assembly practices, tools and fixturing.
Ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees.
Must excel at working in a team environment.
Must be able to familiarize with product construction and internal applications.
Must have knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.
Must have very strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Will be computer proficient. Preferred experience with shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial) or related field from an accredited college, university or technical school; 1-2 years related experience and/or training in engineering or manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, production associates, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must possess strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude. Requires basic financial knowledge.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to make sound business decisions and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Requires analytical knowledge; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical publications. Must be able to read technical drawings.
