- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial) from an accredited institution
- AutoCAD, CAD/CAM, and Solidworks experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of investment casting manufacturing process a plus
- Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
Comfortable with exposure to a manufacturing environment.

Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern position is located in our Niles, Oh facility.
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer Summer Intern. This position will assist engineering with plant floor layout reconstruction, 5S projects and standardized work development.
- Work closely with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve issues and provide technical support.
- Develop systems and layouts that follow lean manufacturing philosophies of one-piece flow and Kanban, with emphasis on mistake proofing.
- Lead and direct meetings with other team members and hourly associates.
- Manage tooling and gauge design and drawings.
- Provide training and guidance to all employee levels in the operation and maintenance of new equipment.
