About the Job
Description
Permanent position for a Manufacturing Process Engineer for custom industrial furniture and millwork products.
Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and implement process optimization strategies.
Design and refine production workflows to enhance productivity and product quality.
Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance.
Prepare and present project plans, timelines, and progress reports to management.
Provide technical expertise and support to the production team.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production problems.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
BS Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Experience with millwork operations, metal fabrication, and powder coating lines is a plus
