Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Plant Layouts and Resolve Line Issues: Work on improving plant layouts and addressing line issues to enhance efficiency and streamline production processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, relocate machinery, and implement solutions that optimize workflow.
- Small New Equipment Projects:Assist with smaller-scale new equipment projects, ensuring their installation and integration into the current manufacturing processes.
- Data-Driven Improvements: Partner with our controls and finishing teams to establish data collection metrics, ensuring these are displayed and tracked accurately to drive process improvements.
- Champion Safety: Help advance our safety initiatives by contributing to process controls, meticulous documentation, and ongoing process improvement efforts.
Your Skill Set:
- Hands-On Approach: You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive into projects.
- Excellent Communicator: You possess strong written and oral communication skills, making complex information easy to understand.
- Tech Savvy: You have a high degree of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD.
Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
Physical Demands:
- Versatile Work Environment: While this position involves periods of sitting, you’ll also be standing, using manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and performing minimal lifting.
