Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure quality products by following approved assembly and testing procedures. Comply with Good Documentation Practices when creating, documenting and reviewing quality records.
- Open and utilize current revisions of documents in Agile.
- Comply with ESD Handling Procedure to protect electronic parts and assemblies.
- Perform Line Clearance in accordance with Line Clearance procedure.
- Troubleshoot and investigate instrument failures to identify root cause and reprocess per established procedures.
- After assembly, set up, test instruments and complete required documentation
- Become trained and experienced in lower level sub-assembly build and testing requirements.
- Manage rework activities, non-conformances and MRB inventory reduction efforts.
- Become trained and experienced in more complex higher level assembly build and test requirements. Understand the basic functions of sub-assemblies and higher level instruments and conduct investigative and root cause analysis for failures.
- Trained on NCR and PDR procedure. Initiate, investigate and submit NCR's and PDR's to address non-conformances and process deviations.
- Conduct MFG DHR reviews and release of assembled and tested products.
- Assist with the development and revisions to manufacturing assembly and test procedures
- Work with and support engineering teams in the research and development of new products and product launches.
Education and Experience:
- 4-6 years related experience
- Hands on with system assembly tools( torque drivers,epoxy dispensers,heatsink compounds).
- Cell layout,product cycle time evaluation. Knowledge of Autocad or similar software is a plus.
- Knowledge or ability to work in backend(2nd op and 2rd operations like dispensing,conformal coating processes)is a plus.
- Basic Knowledge of PCB chips and components
- Understanding of electronics schematic and diagrams
- Basic knowledge of Workmanship IPC-A-610
- High School diploma or equivalent with experience in medical diagnostic or pharmaceutical environment.
- AA degree in Electronic preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level.
- Solid understanding of AC and DC electronic wiring (i.e., current/voltage rating, circuit breakers, and safety precautions) is a big plus.
- Proficient knowledge in the use of DVM and oscilloscope is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of hand and powered tools.
- Excellent workmanship standards are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to read schematics and basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
- Good working knowledge of electronic components.
- Experience in QSR/GMP

Salary Range(annual): $60,000 - $70,000 ($28.84 - 33.65 / hourly)
