components to fabricate custom aluminum boats. Our customers include the

challenging work environment that is mostly done in an indoor and heated

serve and protect others. WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A MARINE
ENGINEER/DESIGNER As a Marine Engineer/Designer at Lake Assault Boats,
you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of maritime
engineering. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating
with peers to design and create ship structures and systems, ensuring
that all vessel requirements and specifications are met. You'll
transform innovative 3D designs into comprehensive 2D drawing sets,
while also checking the work of CAD drafters to maintain high-quality
standards. Your expertise will extend to preparing detailed bills of
materials and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including
vendors and subcontractors. You'll also manage design changes and
provide timely guidance to facilitate seamless transitions from
engineering to production. Additionally, you will engage in hands-on
equipment testing, including builder's sea trials, and maintain
meticulous engineering change documentation. Your ability to perform
mathematical modeling for weight studies and develop production drawings
will be crucial in upholding our commitment to safety and excellence.
