Planet Interactive is looking for a Market Research Manager to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and will be expected to be onsite 3 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, in their Cupertino office.
Market Research Manager Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal clients across distinct divisions to identify business issues to be addressed, and synthesize from disparate sources to provide a comprehensive view of the consumer and marketplace.
- Drive the research process from end-to-end.
- Develop learning plans, manage research vendors, handle questionnaire design, put together programming surveys, handle analysis, and statistical testing to synthesizing findings.
- Deliver presentations around market research and findings.
- Ensure that through any assigned research projects there is a sophisticated and analytical approach.
- Bring innovation to research projects, including recommending alternative approaches where appropriate.
- Support Customer Insights needs that deal with varying audiences.
- Analyze customer behavior patterns.
Market Research Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in customer insights / market research in a consumer technology / consumer media company or market research firm preferably in a global role.
- A proven track record in quantitative and qualitative survey analysis.
- Able to communicate research clearly and concisely across audiences and partners, with the ability to explain analytical outcomes in business terms.
- Experience in using survey tools (such as Qualtrics and Decipher) to program and manage survey projects.
- Expertise with application of a broad range of research techniques and methodologies.
- e.g. cross-tabulations, maxDiff, segmentation and cluster analysis, conjoint / discrete choice, predictive analytics, etc.
- Experience working on research projects focused on developer audiences is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python Pandas / R / SPSS / Stata / SAS, as well as Excel, Keynote and Jupyter Notebook a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in business, management, statistics, economics, market research or human behavior is preferred.
