School Physical Therapist (Virtual) SY. 2022-2023
Seed Sessions offers a unique tele-practice program that offers 100% Live, Virtual Special Education and Related Services to educational settings and special education students. Our objective is to bridge the Global Special Education and Therapy world unconstrained by distance and time zone difference through advanced telepractice platforms and virtual human engagements.

We are currently looking for School Physical Therapists who are interested in working in Brookins Oregon.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, implements, and monitors activities that allow students to access and benefit from their specialized instruction.
- Conduct standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results and write reports to determine strengths and concerns
- Develop treatment plans that are strength based as well as child and family centered
- Ensure that IEP, ETR and progress monitoring procedures adhere to the district, state and federal guidelines
- Collect ongoing daily data and adapt treatment accordingly based on trends in student performance
- Attend IEP and ETR meetings and provide necessary documentation for team to review in a timely manner
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and all other members of a student's educational team
- Guide teachers, primary care providers and all other educational team members in the implementation of facilitating classroom strategies to ensure skill generalization and in how to identify students who may require a referral for physical therapy services.
- Develop, follow and communicate to building leaders and department supervisors, a daily schedule
- Conduct assistive technology needs assessments
- Attend monthly staff meetings and pursue professional development in maintenance of state board licensure and for addressing student and caseload needs
- Develop functional use of district software for purposes of special education compliance and accountability reporting
Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy preferred
